Raymar Cleaners

Ann from Raymar Cleaners in La Plaza, next to Hennessey's Tavern, is now a ZeroTrash Storefront Supporter.

Ann saw the ZeroTrash volunteers cleaning the sidewalk and street in front of her dry-cleaners and immediately thanked everyone personally, then asked how she could help.

Hobie Joins the ZeroTrash Party

No Comments ZT News

Hobie Surf Shop in Dana Point has joined the ZeroTrash party!

A long-term member of the Dana Point community, the Hobie Surf Shop has always been a great corporate citizen, and thanks to the all good people associated with the shop, ZeroTrash is adding its second Dana Point location at the beautiful Hobie shop on Pacific Coast Highway beginning Dec. 3, 2011.

Come join the party yourself… and help us all “Pick It Up.” You’ll be greeted warmly, of course, and we’ll all go about the business of cleaning up our watershed streets before all this trash hits the beaches and ocean.

Remember, every 1st SATURDAY, you and your friends can join in the fun from 10am-noon. Plus, all the ZeroTrash volunteers qualify for special discounts and perks at all the Dana Point ZeroTrash locations, which now include Hobie and Girl In The Curl Surf Shop, where ZeroTrash launched almost 2 years ago.

Check out this slideshow of photos from Feb. 6, 2010.

These great volunteers braved the intimidating wind and rain and showed up at Girl in the Curl at 10am Saturday to do our first ever Dana Point community cleanup. These folks single-handedly took almost 50 lbs. of trash off the streets of Dana Point, separated out the recyclables and made sure all that material will not end up in the ocean later in the day as the rains continued.
